The Hive currently shooting

Principal photography has begun in Haute-Corse for The Hive, the upcoming short film by Clara Milo.

Co-produced with Colonelle Films, the film embodies a French-Canadian collaboration conceived as a genuine artistic and production exchange, in which each partner is fully involved in the project’s development, creative direction, and production process.

Driven by a shared ambition and teams brought together from both sides of the Atlantic, The Hive is part of an international co-production approach focused on building meaningful and sustainable collaborations in service of the works themselves and the talents behind them.

The film is supported by the Société de développement des entreprises culturelles, the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée and Canal+.

Clara Milo’s third short film, The Hive follows Adeline, 22 and five months pregnant, as she joins a mysterious community of women living away from the world in a lush estate shaped by strange beliefs surrounding a prophetic figure.

Post-production will also take place across France — notably for the VFX work — and Canada, with the film scheduled for release in summer 2026.
