Piano Sano at TAIWAN’S TCCF

We’re back from the Taiwan Creative Content Fest (TCCF) with renewed energy and a strengthened conviction: stories travel, and encounters bring them to life. Organized by the Taiwan Creative Content Agency and the Ministry of Culture Taiwan, the festival stands out as a key platform for dialogue between creators, producers, and international partners, with strong delegations from across Asia, including South Korea, Japan, China, and Thailand. A space where projects take shape, are challenged, and begin to circulate.

The time spent on site helps refine our understanding of Asian market dynamics and the conditions for international circulation. It also extends relationships already in place, notably with the Taipei Film Commission, first engaged during the selection of Shadows at the Taipei Film Festival.

Sam & watson : pitch And international outreach

Sam & Watson is among the 15 animation projects selected internationally, including 3 from France. As part of this selection, we are invited to take part in a two-day workshop program led by Carlene Tan (Senior Director: Animation + Kids, Warner Bros. Discovery Asia-Pacific), Aaron Simpson (Founder of Rivenoak Media, Inc.), and Wu De-Chuen(Director). The project is then pitched on the main stage of the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center in front of an audience of investors, broadcasters, and international co-producers.

This selection marks a key step in the project’s development. It provides an opportunity to present the series to international stakeholders and gauge its reception in a co-production and global distribution context. It is also the occasion to unveil a first teaser of our comedic duo’s adventures.

We are especially moved by the warm reception Sam & Watson received — and it makes us eager to return very soon to continue the conversations.
